REVA

REVA is DJ / Producer Adrian Fern from the United Kingdom, born in Cheltenham Adrian currently lives in Chippenham, Wiltshire. He has been producing and remixing for 15 years and has been DJing for 20, his DJing career started in 1987 with the introduction of Acid and Rave. From playing at and organising parties around the southwest of England he started to become interested in producing his own style of dance music, this evolved in the early 90’s to form the basis of his sound today. Many acts have played a part in influencing the sound and style of REVA but the main influences in creating an interest in electronica were The Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Kraftwerk and other electronic acts during the 1980’s. Over the years Adrian has formed various small live electronica bands and has also played out as a solo artist. Around 1995 he stopped the live work and dissolved the group at the time to concentrate on his DJing career. Between 1995 and 1999 he was lucky enough to play at some of the UK’s best loved nightclubs and festivals as well as securing residences in some of the best loved nightspots in Cheltenham and Gloucester he also travelled to Europe and played at various night spots through the summer seasons at the top holiday resorts of Ibiza, Cyprus and Spain. He has now returned back to the production of music concentrating on the style he has DJ’ed for the past 11 years. We hope this has given you a brief insight into REVA's musical history to date. Alan Delabie was born in 1974 in north of france. In 1999 the trance music changed his life, when he discovered artists such as Rank-1, Fire & Ice, Armin, Tiesto, DJ Taucher. He started music production with computer and sequencer Cubase and also playing the keyboard synthesizer. At the end of 2002 Alan signed the first release at the famous Belgium label, Mackenzie Records, home of Marino Stephano, C.M., Mackenzie feat Jessy. DJ Deraven has been featured on Trancemaster 4006 and on La Bush CD, famous club in Belgium with the track Picture Of My Life. In 2005 he released his first CD album entitled Land Of Illusion, a pure emotional trance album. Now Alan produce trance with other alias such as Epic Journey, Space Station, Ngule, signed at digital label Btrance records and Time2trance label. Born under the Pisces sign, in New York City, 1974, John ”Ender“ Rios moved to Puerto Rico at age 16, where he has lived ever since. His involvement with music began in 1997 while working as a bartender at a night club. In his childhood he was influenced by the sounds of disco and classic rock played by his brother and sister. Later on he developed his own taste towards Rap, Jazz and R&B. In 1997 his musical interested shifted to electronic music. After experiencing the performances from many local and international DJ/Artists he realized that his heart lay behind the turntables and not the bar and immediately purchased his first turntables. In 2000 he was given the opportunity to begin his career in various clubs. His energy and overwhelming talent quickly led him in 2001 to his first residency. That same year ”Hidden Agenda“ (Electronic Music Event Promotion and Production Company) noticed his unmistakable style and booked him for his first major event. This career boosting step allowed him the privilege to perform along side important artist such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buren, Prodigy, Felix Da Housecat, Miguel Migs, Kunkie XL and Timo Maas to name a few. He has also played in many big events like Tiesto Live at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium, February 2007 (Puerto Rico – 12,000 plus in attendance), ENDURANCE, I HEART HOUSE (official after parties of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2005 and 2006 respectively), UMF 2006 (Miami, UMF Caribbean stage), STEREO (Puerto Rico’s Electronic Music Festival), TIESTO IN SEARCH OF SUNRISE TOUR 4 (Puerto Rico) to name a few. When he first began performing John would describe his style to be ”Slick and soulful jazzy grooves“ and his most important musical influence came from Chill out beats, Jazz and deep soulful house. These days John is playing a Techy Electro up-beat filled sound ranging from tech to electro house, but still keeping his slick sensual groove making his performance unique. John began the production phase of his career in 2003 and spent the next year working on creating his original sound. Since then he has released many productions on various labels worldwide such as Wallop Recordings (U.K.), CPR Recordings (England), Grooved Music (South Africa), Stranamente Music (Italy), CO2 Recordings (Amsterdam), HMSP Music (New York) and 4-Stroke Produktunes (Belgium). Since then he has remixed tracks from Cristian Paduraru, Elite Superstars, Carlos Lopez, Luigi Rodriguez, Sar Laera, Adrian De Clair and many more. He has had several of his tracks remixed by many artists as well such as Dom Kane, Carlos Lopez, Luigi Rodriguez, to name a few. Stephen Lombardo better known as DRAMA started his musical career at the age of 12 in Philadelphia; and has been an active part of the local scene for over 15 years. He began playing bass guitar and has performed with various bands and projects around the Philadelphia and New Jersey. Around 1997 is when Dance Music changed his Life. Drama was turned on to the melodies of Trance, the groove of House and the heart of Techno. And since he is not DJ, he never limits himself to any specific style when producing. Although Trance is his first love; he loves to do it all. 2006 was an amazing year for Drama. He was given some of the best opportunities on his journey. His first release was a remix for Dj/producer Thomas Colontonio’s (aka Dj Tommyboy) track ”AOL“ that was featured on George Acosta’s cd "All rights reserved“ After that various releases, co operations, and remixes for labels such as Drizzly, and Discover followed bringing his driving tech trance sound to the EDM scene. It was one of the sets of the year for me, the two lads belting out some amazing trance“ -Harderfaster.net (WiLDCHiLD 3rd Birthday, BBL/Global Trance Room) Chris Medlock AKA ‘Med’ had his first break at the age of 19 when he was chosen from thousands of entries to play in the ‘Search For A Superstar DJ’ competition for the UK super club ‘PaSSion’ in mid 2004. After this, Med teamed up with friend and fellow DJ ‘AJ Hutch’, both with a huge passion for music, they came together to create 'Plug And Play'. This started off as a one off all-day event ranging from funky house through to hard trance, but soon after this they started the monthly trance based nights at the 600 capacity 'LEL Club' in St Ives (Cambridge) generating a healthy following since its official launch in March '05, with guest DJs including Adam White (Whiteroom/Euphoria/Mixmag Future Hero), WiLDCHiLD residents Reece Elliot and Little Gem, established DJ and producer Goldenscan, Gatecrasher resident Stevie G and Tidy Trax favourite Guyver. Most notably the two played the massive SeOne Center in the heart of London for the WiLDCHiLD 3rd Birthday in October 2005 where they closed the event to a electric and adoring audience, playing alongside some of the worlds most respected DJs including Ronski Speed, JFK, Scott Bond, Nu Nrg and Agnelli & Nelson. The two once again played for WiLDCHiLD at the 4th birthday celebrations at the same venue in late October 2006 and most recently at the now legendary ‘Ministry Of Sound’ in London in March of 2007. Med has also been producing for over 3 years with his first release being picked up by ‘Trance4M8’. His latest track ‘In You’ has been picked up by ‘Abora Recordings’, with remixes from Freaky Fusion, Sundown, Tragida Evasive and Steve Allen & Ben Alonzi. John is an integral part of the Newcastle rave/club scene, playing live with acid /techno stalwarts Chris Liberator, Rowland the Bastard, Ant, Geezer, D.A.V.E the Drummer and ddr, and djing with hard dance pioneers k90, Paul Glazby, Anne Savage, Organ donors and Vinyl Groover… to name but a few. John has played for various party collectives and club nights; Trauma, Freaky Dancing, Cause and Effect, and Detox, as well as his own venture, Psybernetix. This has seen him perform at raves, festivals, bars and clubs all over the UK. As well as his love for electronic music, John is also known and respected for his role in the now disbanded rock band ‘Herp Nurp’, which were together for 10 years. The band played up and down the country, and secured a record deal with Big Fat Records as well as recording 2 studio albums at impulse studios. AJ Busta alias Alexander Juritsch is one of the most recommended djs and producers in Austria! He began spinning records back in 1998 starting at the famous Tower Club! Followed by gigs all over Vorarlberg, organising his own parties he initiated his own organisation,named Austrocore Productions in the year 2000! Since then he started to collaborate with several djs (Weichei, Van Beathoven, etc.) and his breakthrough came with his first two releases on the sampler ”Electronic Club“ with AJ Busta - LoveFuckTellme“ and ”Van Beathoven - O to the Flow“! Shortly after that he became an artist of AUdible Soundz“ (Hitland Italy) under the supervision of DJ Weichei (alias Alibee)! The first release "Weichei pres. Behind The Artist name GALACTIC ART stay's an electronic music producer and professional DJ, Nedyalko Genov aka DJ_Didoman. Born in Bulgaria on August 15th 1982. For his school teachers and parents Dido was a real menace and hard to handle, madness seemed to be his only drive, as he gets bored rapidly about theories and nagging wether it was good or bad mented. However he always decide to go further than anyone else, he knows about boundaries, it only takes to understand his complex character which can be described as rough but gentle inside. At the age of 12, his family gave him his first stereo as a present for his birthday, not realising what impact that was going to have in his future interests. Spending composing his own tapes with songs he heard on radio programs, he tried to make his own mixes as he was fascinated by the way how Dj's pulled it off. It got even worse when he bought composed mixed cd's of known Dj's in that period, and the surrendered to the virus permanently... From 1998 composing electronic music together with his best friendEduardo. Together they formed the DJ duo called GALACTIC ART and played electronic music (Techno and Electro) all-around the country. In 1999 they've put together an ELECTRO CD with 8 tracks called ELECTRIC MYSTERY (to their regret not released). After the inauspicious beginning Eduardo gave up hope and left. But showing the white flag is for DJ_Didoman not an option. In 2000 he started his own DJ radio show in the local radio station which became later on one of the most popular radio shows in this area. After the resignation of Eduardo, DJ_Didoman (Nedyalko Genov) decided to keep the name GALACTIC ART. After a year spinning all-around in clubs and working in the studio came his second attempt to get the attention of the Bulgarian electronic music labels with the second Electric Mystery CD(2001)...unfortunately without success. Disappointed by the Bulgarian music industry DJ_Didoman (Nedyalko Genov) decided to leave the country and go to Europe. For the last five years, he lives and works in Belgium. There he got to know many world-famous DJs and producers and examine closely their musical potential. Dj Groovy is 30 and from Portugal. Been djing for almost 9 years (November 1998) and producing regularly since 2003. He plays mainly progressive, tribal, techy, electro or deep house music, anything with strong quality. Not very genre specific, he has a broad taste of house music and an exquisite taste for separating the good from the bad in each style. You can hear some techno or breaks too, in his sets. Technically, he's a quite smooth mixer, always trying to blend things seamlessly with long mixes and careful eq, with small doses of effects added in key places. He has played in many, many clubs and parties throughout Portugal including Pacha, playing with the best dj's around. He also plays a weekly 2-hours mix-set show called Groovy Sessions, on the radio for 5 years now (March 2002), you can listen to it online too at www.radio100.pt <http://www.radio100.pt/> every saturday from 22h-24h GMT. Production wise, after some playing around with Rebirth way back in 1998, Groovy's passion for music creation led him to take a course in 2003 and started working more. That gave him more confidence, and in 2006 the fruits of that really started to show. Born in 1977, Pierre Silviet-Carricart a.k.a. OpKrA started to produce tracks as "Lonely Ape" from the end of the 90's trying to pass on emotions the electronic music make him felt during his boyhood. Fed with many various electro influences such as new wave, eurodance and psychedelic trance, OpKrA provides a powerful and pumpy melodic sound, with some strong uplifting vibes. The Omen project was born in 1998. Progressive trance is favorite style. At the beginning it was directed to hard style, practicing the mixture of hardcore and heavy guitar music, but after a while the style changed. In 2001 Omen entered Alienz project and in 2002 they've released a single "Watch This!" (2step style). Also a breakbeat style experiments took place. The author of the project - D.N.S. System (Digital National Sound System). D.N.S.System - it is first of all the broken rhythm, whether it is drum'n'bass, breakbeat or 2step. Starting from the 2003 the final style formed - it was Trance. To present day it stays unchanged, varying only the directions of the style. Omen's compositions were released with many collections, including, but not limited to: Child Of Trance vol.2, Russian Trance Attack vol.2, Trance Addicted, DJ Star Mix, Tranceverter, DJ Club 1, Child Of Trance vol.3, My DJ Club Music, DJ Traks Trance Best and other... Artist & DJ, Michael, also know as AnR, was born on the 11th of May 1981, and was raised in southeast Melbourne, Australia. When Michael was a child, he always wanted to become a musician. He wanted to create and share his unique and passionate style of music with the world. Music is a part of Michael's family, and he grew up listening to Country, Rock & Roll and Reggae Music. Michael has loved dance music all of his life. It all started from long trips listening to dance music on the radio. At the age of 21, Michael wanted to produce music, to the quality of commercial releases. With friends teaching him the music program FL studio, he spend many hours learning about producing music. He discovered that writing and producing trance dance tracks fulfilled his musical life. He feels that he has to earn his recognition by himself, and so works hard on his music to get his tracks recognized by the public. Michael's tracks have been played in some clubs in Europe including Hungary, Austria and Holland. His tracks have been recognized by artists Above & Beyond, Passiva & Christian Rusch. Passiva asked Michael for permission to play one of his tracks during a live set. Christian Rusch, one half of Rusch & Murray, is working together on a track which became another happy moment for Michael. 2006 was the year where Michael had his track unleashed upon the world. Four of his tracks were officially signed & released on a Belgium digital label, which are Summer Dream, City lights, Blue water & Silent Tide. Michael works hard on every project, including original work and remixes. Michael's biggest influence in his life is his family, and some big name dance DJ's including ATB, Tiesto, Chicane, Armin Van Burren, The Thrillseekers, Michael loves to impress the crowed by DJ'ing live, playing his favourite house and trance tracks at clubs and house parties. Michael's dream is to be a success with his music and his DJ career. Apart from creating new tracks Michael currently DJs live on Evolution FM, an internet radio station. Michael has his own show called dreaming trance. Michael has DJ'd at few parties including Hallam pub and at some house parties. "Rare Records" did grow out to one of the most important suppliers of Vinyl and Cd's for Deejay's and Record Collectors. After the initial success was 1995 the year "Rare-Records" "The All Style Dance Store" opened his doors in Eindhoven.(NL) Even today it's one of the most important specialized "Dance Music Store" in the south of Holland, with clients from off course every part of ”Holland“, ”Germany“, ”France“, and even the ”United kingdom“.
